Things You Need to Know Before Your Appointment with Pain & Swelling Solutions

***PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW,
ESPECIALLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPOINTMENT CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS***


BEFORE YOU COME:

1. If you are exhibiting **ANY** cold or flu-like symptoms
(including what you think is a common cold),

**DO NOT COME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT**
even if it is last minute.
Just please call or text to let me know you are unwell.


Why can’t you come if it is “just a cold”?
You can pass it to me and
I cannot work if I have a cold.
(The last time this happened, I was off of work for 10 days = 1/3 of my income for the month.)
*If you show up with a cold, I will have to send you home.*

2. I still mask due to an immune condition.
I have an immune disorder, and I work in
very close proximity with people all day long. 
(I guarantee you I’m more sick of them than you. lol)


WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

1. Please do not come inside more than 5 minutes early
(unless we have discussed it beforehand)
.
There is a lot to do to change out the room between clients,
and I want to be sure everything is clean for you.
If you do arrive very early, please text me to let me know you are here.
Sometimes I am ahead of schedule, but that varies depending on the client before you.


If for any reason the door is locked,
send me a text and I will see it on my computer
(do not call – my phone is always off).


2. I allow one other person to accompany you.

3. Please sanitize your hands after entering the building.
There is hand sanitizer available near the door.
Hand sanitizer is also available in the treatment room.




APPOINTMENT CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

MY CANCELLATION POLICY IS A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE

If you need to change or cancel your appointment,
you may log into the client portal and make whatever changes you need
without contacting me up to 24 hours before the appointment time.
 
If you need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time,
you MUST to contact me via phone or text (NOT EMAIL)
505-554-5185 if you need to cancel.

 

Lymphatic Massage Clients:
Please be sure to consume plenty of water starting the day before your visit,
and continue to drink water for at least 24 hours after your visit.
This will help you get the best possible results.
Many people think that drinking water will cause more swelling.
The opposite is true. Drinking water helps reduce your swelling.
 

*If This Is Your First Appointment*
 
Be sure that you have **filled out your paperwork online prior to your visit.**
Check your inbox (or SPAM folder) for an email called
“You Have New Forms to Complete for Shannon Goins-Blair”
containing a link to the online form.

You can complete the form on your phone.
(Be sure to click “Submit” after the signature line
when you are finished or it will not be received.
You do not need to print it.)
